Keeled Scales presents a night of contemporary folk music in honor of the release of the new sun riah album “Sitting with Sounds and Listening for Ghosts,” which arrives the day before this show. She’s an experimental folk musician from Oklahoma whose instrument is the harp. Her new album is more accessible than anything she’s released so far. Paste Magazine named her one of “five harpists who nail experimental pop music.”
We’re also excited to be hosting another touring act that evening, Future Lives, all the way from Athens, Georgia. “The best sort of orchestrated pop music, offering up lighthearted joy for us all. This is just the sort of gem you expect from a band hailing from Athens.” — Austin Town Hall
Blair Robbins (of Ama) and Chase Weinacht (of MARMALAKES) will open and close the evening.
$5-10 suggested donation for the touring acts
