About The Dirty Grass Players
Emerging from the storied bluegrass scene in Baltimore is the Dirty Grass Players, who with their recently released self-titled debut album, are keeping alive the rich tradition of progressive bluegrass. Their music straddles the gap between the traditional and the modern with an infectious, forward-thinking sound that can easily move from a simple, sweetly, picked tune into an adventurous, inspired jam. They have shared the stage with musical luminaries including Larry Keel, Donna the Buffalo, Fruition, and the Cris Jacobs Band and appeared at such festivals as Camp Bluegrass, Sleepy Creek Spring Dig, Great Folkgrass Happenstance, KarmaFest, and the Charm City Bluegrass Festival.
